Lac

In the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh vineyards, the 40 ha lake of Bassillon-Vauzé is located in a peaceful corner of the countryside. A shaded picnic area is provided at the entrance to the lake.
This lake is very famous for fishing for large predators. It is undoubtedly the best lake in the north-east of the department. It is very populated with pike, percids, especially with large pike-perch and beautiful perch, but also with carp of significant size. The water body is in mandatory release (No-Kill) for all species. Boat fishing is allowed (boat agreement required), as well as night carp fishing.
A hiking trail is located around the lake, as well as educational panels on lake fish and birds.
