As part of the Alimenterre Festival, a national event that invites us to rethink our food and the future of our countryside.
On the program: screening of Jérôme Zindy?s film Transmettre, a sensitive and committed documentary on the transfer of farms. A hot topic at a time when many farmers are looking to hand over the reins, often under difficult circumstances.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with local farmers, members of ABDEA (Béarn?s peasant farming network) and Terre de Liens, on the concrete challenges of renewing agricultural generations. Because, as the festival reminds us, "our future is played out on our plates", this is a great opportunity to come and debate the issue.
