La Passem in MONTARDON

The race, which promotes the transmission of the Lenga Nosta language, will be accompanied by entertainment as it passes through the village. Three relays are scheduled in Montardon between 3:58 and 4:11 pm (see elsewhere). During the race, a baton symbolizing the lenga nosta is passed from hand to hand at each kilometer. It contains a message kept secret until the finish. Each relay is paid for by an association, a private individual or a municipality. The Béarnais section of the Foyer Rural will be offering accompaniment by bike or other means through the village. In the Place des Pyrénées, there will also be bike-related activities (bike repairs for children and adults, and electric bike trials).
