Step 1 :
Take the paved path opposite the road, which leads to the oratory and then to a small street. Follow it to the left for 100 metres. You will come to a crossroads. Continue straight ahead on a paved path that descends steeply, then turns right and joins a new road.Step 2 :
Cross it and take the track opposite, which descends to the stream, which you cross via a culvert. Climb back up the hillside. You will reach a new road, which you follow to the right. At the first junction, continue straight ahead. After about 400 metres, you will reach the edge of the woods, which you follow to the right. You will reach a house located next to the woods.Step 3 :
Take the path on the left that climbs into the woods and quickly reaches the edge, which you now follow towards the east. You will pass a small car park on your right behind the ‘Bellevue’ housing estate, which can also be used as a starting point for this walk.Step 4 :
Continue along the obvious path, always staying on the edge of the forest. It enters the undergrowth, rejoins the edge of the forest, descends and then climbs steeply. After running along the edge of the plateau, it enters the woods again and crosses a small stream via a culvert before returning to the edge of the woods near the RD 90 road. Gradually move away from the road to the left, parallel to a high-voltage power line located in the fields on the left. You will reach a crossroads.Step 5 :
Take the path that descends to the left. At the bottom of this slope, follow the main track, continuing straight ahead, which soon runs alongside a large clearing, passes through a wet area (stream) and then climbs steeply to emerge from the woods.Step 6 :
Continue straight ahead on this same track. At the first junction, turn left and then left again. You will reach the tarmac road and a junction where you will find the route you took on the way there. Turn right and follow it to reach first the small culvert after a steep descent and then the village of Sauvagnon.
