With the Pyrenees as a backdrop, the castle of Aydie dominates a hillside, in the heart of the vineyards producing Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh. This large Belle Époque villa belonged to the Béarnese writer Joseph Peyré, who won the Goncourt Prize in 1935. For 3 generations, the Laplace family has been developing the terroirs to produce exceptional wines. A diversity of vintages is produced on the 58 hectares of the estate.
The Laplace family shares their passion for wine and vines with you with guided tours of the family estate, cellars and vineyards by appointment. The estate offers wine tastings and direct sales.
