Best practices

  • Be leashed on public roads, parks and gardens
  • Drink regularly
  • Avoid hot weather for outings
  • Never leave your dog in the car, even for a short break, especially in summer.
  • Pay particular attention to processionary caterpillars between May and July and to spikelets in summer when out walking.
  • Remain vigilant: we strongly advise against drinking or bathing in stagnant water in summer (risk of cyanobacteria).
  • Take along dog waste bags
  • Organize a totally dog-friendly holiday so you can take it everywhere with you!
