À Morlanne, village de caractère aux confins des Landes et du Béarn, le château domine fièrement la campagne environnante. Érigé en 1373 par Gaston III de Foix-Béarn, dit Gaston Fébus, il constitue l’un des plus remarquables exemples d’architecture fébusienne du territoire.
Sauvé et restauré dans les années 1970 par Hélène et Raymond Ritter, puis légué au Département des Pyrénées-Atlantiques, le château et ses collections sont aujourd’hui protégés au titre des Monuments historiques. Chemin de ronde, donjon et panorama exceptionnel à 25 mètres de haut offrent une vue imprenable sur les Pyrénées et les paysages béarnais.
Jeu de piste pour les familles, parcours sonore “Au temps de Fébus” à suivre en autonomie, animations et ateliers toute l’année : la visite se veut vivante et interactive. Une immersion captivante au cœur du Moyen Âge, à vivre en solo, en famille ou entre amis.
