An exhibition by Julie Pellon featuring imaginary and everyday objects crafted from reclaimed wood sourced from nearby forests. Each piece is carved with a chainsaw or pyrographed; Julie will also highlight the imprint of the original tree (the tree rings, which reveal its life cycle and the influences of climatic factors) and a “letter from the tree” addressed to visitors; unique stories that echo nature and resonate with our senses as well, through thescent of the wood shavings and simply reconnect us to our origins, to time, and to our own relationship with trees, forests, and all living things. An exhibition open to all ages.
