Exclusively red, AOC Madiran wines are made from Tannat, an autochthonous grape variety that thrives on the terroirs of the Madiran hills. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are complementary grape varieties.

Serving: between 16° and 17°.

Confidential wines

Béarn PDO
The appellation produces as much rosé as red wine, and very little white. The grape varieties are essentially local: Tannat, Cabernet Franc (Bouchy) and Cabernet Sauvignon (for rosé and red wines). Raffiat of Moncade is still used for white wines.
PGI Comté Tolosan Pyrénées-Atlantiques
The “Comté Tolosan” Protected Geographical Indication covers 12 departments in the south-west of France, including the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The name “Comté Tolosan” comes from the name of the city of Toulouse, capital of Occitanie and South-Western wines. It produces rosé, red and white wines.
