No doubt we are in the heart of the Madiran vineyards!
With this loop around the castle of Crouseilles, we would take a few moments to take the castleman around the property!
Vines as far as the eye can see, a superb castle and a grain of sport are the ingredients of this walk.

Itinerary

  • Step 1 :

    From the church car park, start walking up the street. Enter the château grounds and walk around the building. Head towards the corner of the vines and walk down a wide path between the rows. At the bottom, turn left and at the end of the rows, turn right down the valley. Cross the culvert and walk straight up through the vines to the road.

  • Step 2 :

    Continue left and walk along the track alongside the copse. At the end, turn left into the vineyard and walk along the edge. Walk down to the meadow alongside the hedge. At the bottom of the valley, head up the hillside on a farm track. On the road, turn left as far as the church.
