Step 1 :
From Place Macadieu, take Rue Jean Moulin and turn left onto Chemin de la Gare. Follow the road down to the D16. Follow the road back up, keeping an eye out for traffic. Cross over to the first street on the right (rue Victor Lefranc). Walk towards Place de la Liberté, then turn right. Cross the car park on your right and go down the few steps between the Post Office and the swimming pool. Walk past the school, along rue des Fosses, and head towards the Médiathèque, just past the stadium. Go up the D41 (avenue Martyrs de la Résistance) and past the old school.Step 2 :
After the college, go down chemin Sartoulet, then left onto chemin de la Vieille Église. A path descends steeply to the right and leads to a fountain (la Houn de Caouté). Go back and forth and continue straight ahead, then go around the Arènes. Turn right into rue du cimetière, cross the esplanade and take rue du Béarn, which joins the square.
Saint-Jean-Baptiste church (Heritage)Church 3rd quarter 19th century. 31 stained glass windows signed Bergès (1863). Copy of Murillo's Holy Family, known as the Virgin of Seville, signed Dartiguenave (1839). Monumental paintings by Augier and Millet (1903).
Château Hiton and its grounds (Heritage)This noble house built in the 17th and 18th centuries features Louis XIV panelling, a fireplace and an indoor fountain. Purchased by the commune around 1950, it is now the seat of the Town Hall, on the edge of the municipal park.
Bullring (Heritage)Garlin is one of the few traditional bullfighting venues in Béarn. Arenas built near Les Embarrats to replace the old arenas on Place de la Liberté (1811–1875) and then those on Place du Marcadieu (1875–1937). Boulevard des Remparts follows the route of the old moats (palisades) that surrounded the town and appear on the 1682 land register.

Musée des vieux outils Arasclet (Cultural site)Permanent exhibition of more than 2,500 machines, agricultural and craft tools, objects and domestic utensils from the South-West, corresponding to 25 different trades, covering the period from the 17th to the 20th century. Discover a 19th-century Béarnais interior (kitchen, bedroom, etc.).
Ferme Porc & Pink (Tasting)The Porc & Pink farm has a Bayonne Ham certified livestock. Hélène Péhéaa offers a wide range of products for sale on the farm: cured meats (sausage, chorizo, coppa, ham, etc.), fresh meat (sausage, roast, ventrèche, etc.), preserves (pâté, black pudding, cooked ham, etc.). You can find them at the Garlin market on Saturday mornings.
