Exploring the Manas bog along a short trail is an invitation to better understand nature, biodiversity and the commitment of local authorities to protect these places. Along the loop, information boards provide details about the flora and fauna, as well as the unique features of this site. The return journey, which follows the meandering course of the Ombré stream, is most pleasant, sheltered from the sun and lulled by the sound of the water.
Itinerary
  • Step 1 :

    Towards the bog Walk past the tennis courts and follow the track to the right of the sign. Walk through the woods, then the grassy path opens up and overlooks a small valley. Ignore the track on the left that descends into the hollow. After the shelter, stay on the horizontal path at the intersection to reach a car park where you will find information boards. The view overlooks the entire peat bog.
  • Step 2 :

    The descent to the bog Go through the barrier and down the path. Once at the bottom, the path winds between the meanders, while a footbridge leads to the foot of the bog. Continue along the stream to find the main path on the left and go up after the wooden bridges towards the stadium.
