At almost 50 km, this circuit is starting to get serious! The rolling terrain is ideal for trying to set a fast time, but taking your time is just as enjoyable! The route passes through several villages and runs alongside Lake Gabas.

  • Lake Gabas (Panorama)

    Between Tarbes and Pau, straddling two departments, Lake Gabas offers stunning views of the Pyrenees and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Activities on offer include sailing, hiking, hot air ballooning, fishing and even drawing excursions.

  • Pontacq (Heritage)

    This pretty town in Béarn is located on the banks of the Ousse River. Remains from its ancient past include a 13th-century tower, part of the ramparts and a 14th-century Gothic church. On Place Du Barry stands a bronze goose, the sentinel of Béarn, once responsible for warning the towns of Béarn of invaders coming from Bigorre. The town's coat of arms bears the Latin motto ‘Melior vigilentia somno’ (Better to watch than sleep).
