Amélie’s Pastis

Corn beans from Béarn
This vigorous climbing bean, which can reach 2.50 m in height, has historically been grown at the foot of corn, a perfect support for staking. This bean has lived in Béarn for 500 years and is the subject of a registered trademark. Slightly sweet, not very floury and with a fine taste, you’ll find it in many local dishes, including the famous garbure.
