Itinerary
  • Step 1 :

Start from the town hall square and the school, leaving the school on your left as you take the road towards the castle. Turn left and then immediately right onto the track through the woods, which occasionally offer glimpses of the rolling countryside. In the agricultural plain, turn right onto Chemin de Larribère, then cross the meandering Saint Peyrus via a stone bridge and two small wooden footbridges. When you reach the tarmac, turn right onto the road going up the hillside.
  • Step 2 :

As you approach the top of the hill 200 metres after the first house, turn right and then immediately left onto a narrow path that narrows into a trail and descends into the wooded valley of Saint Peyrus. Cross the stream (footbridge) and turn left at the foot of the woods to cross the dyke of the small hilltop lake. Turn right to reach the car park overlooking the lake.
  • Step 3 :

Cross the small embankment to go around the lake at the top of the hill and continue along the contour line through the woods.
  • Step 4 :

On the tarmac road, turn right and follow the D40 along the footpath. At the first roundabout, turn right to return to the starting point.
