What do you mean there’s nothing

Ah, winter is here! The cold is slowly setting in, the days are getting shorter and the air is getting crisper. It’s the perfect season to enjoy nature in a new light, with its frosty landscapes and hushed atmosphere. Sleepy forests, misty hills and views of the snow-covered Pyrenees create a setting conducive to contemplation and serenity.

Whether you’re looking for an invigorating stroll, a gourmet moment with seasonal produce or a comforting break by the fire, winter invites you to slow down and savor every moment.

By the way, when is winter? From December 21 to March 19.

Stroll along the banks of the Arlas in Serres-Castet. Discover the diversity of flora and fauna in the Vallon du Manas in Ger, the wet moors of the Bois de la Seube in Mazerolles or the Loumagne wetland in Garlin, on our interpretation trails.

Get curious and chat with Mickäel from Morlanne’s experimental epicurean garden.

Vineyard land

Did you know? After the harvest, the vines enter their winter rest phase. Cold temperatures are beneficial. The sap flows back down to the roots and the plant rests. This is the time for pruning, essential for preparing the future harvest.

Tick tock, tick tock, it could well be that the vine’s awakening is fast approaching! As the sap rises and flows through the pruning wounds, the vine cries, the first sign that it is moving from passive to active life.

Discover our exceptional vineyards, including the famous Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, as well as the Béarn appellation and Comté Tolosan in Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

Come and meet the winemakers who welcome you to their estates for unique moments of sharing and conviviality. Enjoy guided tours of the estates, vineyards and cellars. Let yourself be seduced by wine tasting, immersive oenotourism experiences and viticultural animations.
